To eat! Play fetch, rip the stuffing out of stuffed animals, nibble on his brother Pepe's ears, chase his feline sister, Noel, fart and then give me the "what was that?" look. He also LOVES to give puppy kisses- even to the Vet!! He is the mad licker.
Pet-Peeves:
Baths, nail clipping, ear cleaning, eye boogers, taking naps when he'd rather be playing, the Pit Bull named China next door
Favorite Toy:
Rawhide bones, squeaky hamburgers & hotdogs, stuffed animals, cat toys
Favorite Food:
Iams Mini Chunk, my Special K, Puperoni, Iams biscuits, any people food he can get his paws on.
Favorite Walk:
Around the block. To Corey Beach to dip his toes in the water.
Best Tricks:
Sit, paw, lay down, roll over, "drop it", but we are still working on "leave it".
Arrival Story:
Rufus originally had a daddy that did not have enough time to take care of him. He was surrendered to the good people at Care of America who contacted me and let me know there was a Boston Terrier that needed a home. It was love at first sight when I met him and he is a wonderful addition to my home. He is the most loving and funny dog ever. He has a neurotic but sweet brother named Pepe, and a beautiful but mischievious feline sister named Noel. We are all one big happy family!!

Well, it's three days after that big holiday with all the wrapping paper and jingle bell collars and I'm trying to figure out why that blinking tree is still in my living room. The mean white cat that lives with us keeps swatting at the balls and watching them crash to the floor then mom yells but she is deaf so the whole thing ends up being kinda funny.
On a brighter note mom, Aunt Ro, and Grandma got me tons of toys for Christmas. Of course my brother Pepe tries to steal them from me but I just get my growl on and he usually backs off the rawhide. Mom also got me a new snuggle ball bed. She calls it my "big boy bed" and tries to make me sleep on it but during the night I just jump up on her bed, steal all the covers, and get to snoring again. I know she loves me anyway.
So, my adoption anniversary date is coming up next month. I've been with my mom for a whole year now and it's been so great. I can tell she really loves me- she kisses me all the time and makes those squeaky noises in my face. She's a good mom.
My new year's resolution is to stop eating like I have no sense. Mom says I'm not supposed to be more than 20 lbs but I figure I don't really have anyone to impress so why not indulge? Well, I'll try not to eat both my and my brother's food for a while.
