Don't wait until it's too late to say Thanks

Today is Thanksgiving Day in the United States. This holiday, based on a tradition that goes back for centuries, is a day designated for giving thanks for the multitude of blessings which have been bestowed upon us.

Last year, we enjoyed a wonderful Thanksgiving Day at home. The next day, I received, among other things, a p-mail from my best friend Wilson. In his message, he said he was thankful for me and my two brothers. It was short and sweet, and made me feel wonderful.

When I went to reply to it, Wilson showed up with a new name: "Wilson - Rainbow Bridge". I was devastated. How could Wilson just leave like that? I never even had the chance to thank him for being my friend!

But of course I did. I had that chance many, many times. And that's the point of my diary today. Don't wait until it's too late. Say it now.

To my friends: THANK YOU! You mean more to me than you'll ever know.
