We lost another pal today. Bruno's parents carried him to the Rainbow Bridge. He was a great guy, one of the nicest dudes around. It was a special thrill for me when Bruno was the one who turned over the Dog of the Day title to me a couple weeks ago, because he was such a great example of what an award-winning dog should be.
Poor ol' Bruno was only 10 years old, but that's getting up there for a big fella like him. And he had dealt with some tough problems in his time. Always kept up his terrific disposition though! His parents did everything they could to help him along the way. But finally it came to that point where the nicest thing they could do for him was to send him to live with the angels.
Bruno's family has asked for his friends to remember him by helping out the rescue group that helped him out, a very fine organization called A Rotta Love. If you can, please visit their site and make a donation... maybe you'll even find a new brother or sister there! And please remember to include his family in your prayers.
