Arrival Story:
I was looking for a second dog to play dog sports with as our 1st dog just wasn't very active. I found this really cute 11-week-old female ACD puppy at the Humane Society. She had one blue eye. The entire litter had been dumped in an alley and left without the mother. I couldn't resist this sweet little puppy so I adopted her on December 24, 2000.

Bio:
Cleo came to me with the cattledog attitude, which I was so unaware of. I had to learn the hard way with her. I love her dearly...she has taught me a lot about dog training and how to be a partner. She is a very soft dog when it comes to corrections. You really have to just let it go and concentrate on the good things she does or she will totally shut down! Poor baby. Training Cleo in agility was and still is a challenge. She is in control and that can be totally frustrating. I want her to go faster, but she doesn't. I'm out there cheering her on and by the end I'm totally exhausted. I only play agility with her one day a week now and when we do compete, it's only 2 runs per day. She goes totally bezerk and I just let her go. If she is having fun (she makes me laugh, so I guess so), I don't care if she blows the run......she can really move when she is happy. She will always be a Novice dog, but that's okay. She is fun to run when she is a team with me. Cleo, you're the best even though it has to be on your terms. She has earned many agility titles: S-NAC, S-NCC, S-NJC, TN-N, TG-N, AD, SSA, SJ. She is slowing down a bit, so she is not competing as much as years prior.
