 Quick Bio:
Likes: Going to work with me, helping me teach obedience classes, riding in the bed of my truck, long walks, playing tug, barking at the neighbor, barking at the neighbor's dog, running in circles, playing with his ball, watching toys float in the water bowl.

Pet-Peeves: My next door neighbors & his dog, the other dogs (and humans) not playing w/him 24-7, dogs out of line in class (he's the bouncer)

Favorite Toy: Everything, currently his fav toy is his monkey and gorilla that scream, his squeaky ball, football he stole from the neighbors, basketball, soccer ball. :) so, everything. Oh, and of course his goose that honks.

Favorite Food: Pizza, his dog food, dog treats from training class(only), BBQ'd rib bones, and left overs.

Favorite Walk: Anywhere as long as I'm with him. He won't go anywhere unless I take him. Fav walk is to the park right now.

Best Tricks: "Be a Bear!", circus dog, shake, hi-five, sing (he howls on cue). He's mastered obedience, if you call that a trick, hug, bang, roll over, and pray.

Arrival Story: One chilly December day, my sister and I were at the ranch where I keep my horse. I was walking my horse to turnout and my sis saw 2 puppies playing. I knew the ranch dog well and these were her pups. I had seen her previous litters and knew they were always really good dogs. So we sit on the ground and start playing with the puppies (5 weeks old). Suddenly my sister says "Look at that one!" and when I glanced over, this little bear head was looking at me from under their porch. As soon as we made eye contact he came FLYING over as fast as possible, plowed into his sister (who was sitting with me), sends her rolling away, sits down in front of me, leans his back on my knees and looks at me upside-down. He chose me and made it VERY clear that I was his. After 2 weeks, I took him home.

Bio: Tobi is a very special dog. His sister was put down for aggression, and he was dog aggressive himself as a young dog. After lots of work and LOTS of patience he has become a dog I fully trust with any type of dog. He has always loved kids and changes his personality whenever they are around (to be calm so they can play). He is very good with kids, loves them, and takes care of them. He also believes that he is the Bouncer in our classes and at the dog park. If a little upset happens he is right there in the middle to stop it, and believe me the other dogs back up! (he's about 3.5 ft at the shoulder) Tobi is actually considered a King Shepherd. His mom and dad had the recessive gene for a King and he was the only one that came out like one. He is small for his breed and is still considered a purebred german shepherd. They are a rare breed, but a WONDERFUL breed at that! So yes he is a purebred germ. shep, but came out a king. :)

WELCOME to my Diary!! I am Tobi, I am a King shepherd and I'm now 4 years old. My mom never told me this thing had a diary to write in. If I knew I'd be writing all along!
I am a happy dog, overall. I would love to be in the house more but mom goes to work during the day so I have to be outside. She says I have a job to take care of the yard and the house, and I have that covered, no problem.
I have another job, mom says we go to work at night. I like going with her and sometimes she goes 3 times a week, sometimes less sometimes more. I like going more though, it's fun. I get to boss around all the doggies that don't do things right, or get into squabbles with one another. Mom calls me the bouncer, but I just like making sure everybody does what they're supposed to. Mom says it's "training" whatever that means. She has fun too, and I hate it when she goes without me!!! That only happens after I've been playing in the rain and the mud and she comes home just before we need to go to work. I don't think she likes going without me either but sometimes that happens.
Last weekend I just got a new toy that I saw in the store while we were working that I really REALLY wanted, so mom said "maybe later" and she came home with it the NEXT DAY!!! It's a Goose, and it honks. Mom likes to give me a lot of the noisy toys, she says it's funny because it'll bother the neighbor. I don't like him much, and I bark at him whenever he is outside. He hasn't yelled at me lately, I think he figured out that when he yells at me I bark at him more... some humans aren't too bright, and it sometimes takes a long time to train them!! Dogs are so much quicker than these humans are. Not my mom though, she knows how to train dogs AND humans!!
I don't know what else to write now though. Maybe when more interesting things happen to me (like when we go for our walks on the course near the house) I will write more!
WOOF for now!!!!!!!!
