Birthday: September 12th 2006 Likes: Play, eat and talk. Pet-Peeves: Not getting my way. Favorite Toy: Any toy that makes loud noises which she can make noises back to. Favorite Food: I like to eat everything given to me in small amounts. Favorite Walk: I like to play in backyard with my sister Lucy. Best Tricks: The only trick i can do is tricking my mom into giving me what i want when i want it. Arrival Story: Our Siberian Huskies are not too playful as they are getting old and our Shih tzu, Lucy, seem to act old modelling after them. We took her to the dog parks to look for playmates, but some dog scared her once and ever since, she would not play with the dogs. She just snarls and wants to be held.
We started to think about getting her a playmate when I saw a TV show on animal's emotions which convinced me that Lucy needed a little playmate. We started looking around and considering breeds. We knew we wanted a puppy who was going to be Lucy's size (8lbs) or smaller full grown.
Shortly after that, we ran into Lucy's breeder and who told us she had some small Shih Tzus. The next day we went to see them with Lucy. She picked Maddie out of the 2 smallest ones. She weighs 1.7 lbs and is the perfect playmate for Lucy and a source of great entertainment for us and our older dogs. My Pawsome facts
1. I am so small. I am 8 months and weigh 3.7 lbs. Now that does not stop me from eating. I am a chow hound and can eat my sister, Lucy, under the table.
2. I spend the whole day keeping myself busy playing with toys and Lucy. I am very energetic and when I am too much for everyone around me, I stand by my kennel aka condo till my mom opens the door for me. I go in there and boss my toys and redecorate the floor and walls, but that does not exhaust me. it just makes me hungery.
3. I like dressing up. I am no princess like Lucy. I am more of a Tomboy, but I realize that bling goes a far way in the attention department.
4. I snore in my sleep.
5. I love car rides and to go shopping. I am very good in my bag, so my mom can take me anyplace.
6. I like to watch TV. I like the bright colors and the noise. Basically, anything for entertainment is my bag.
7. I am a very licky dog. My mommy is trying to teach me the difference between a kiss and licking. She says my big sister Aurora did that also. She says I act just like her when she was younger.
