Birthday: March 7th 1995 Likes: Nummies Pet-Peeves: Smal children Favorite Toy: None Favorite Food: Cheeze biscuits Favorite Walk: Virginia Beach Best Tricks: She can count, add, subtract, give paw, speak spanish, and give high five. Arrival Story: We actually lucked out when we were adopted by Chewie. We saw her looking so sad in a pet store in a Virginia Beach Mall and didn't think twice when we took her home. We couldn't have asked for a better dog-ter. She is so desperately missed. Bio: We lost Chewie on 01-27-09 to a cancerous tumor on her heart. We had to euthanize her and were with her every step of the way. The Vet allowed us to be on the floor with her and we are so grateful that she didn't have to pass alone. We took her to Dreamland where we had 2 viewings and then had her cremated on 01-28-09. The folks at Dreamland were fantastic. They allowed us 2 view her shortly after we brought her in and then just before she was cremated. They only do single pet cremations. They created a rememberance paw print and we will soon have a memorial website up and running. They presented us her ashes in a beautifully engraved wooden urn. They were so kind and thoughtful...they just seemed to understand what we were and are still going through. Chewie is now on our mantle with her collar, paw print and favorite bandana.
