Birthday: July 4th 2005 Likes: Bugging Elsie, and doing little woofs at us :) Pet-Peeves: Cars are scary :( but she's working on getting over them on walks. Favorite Toy: Chewies, she loves Sheep one of those big plus honking ones from PetEdge :) Favorite Food: Oranges, Peanut Butter -drool-, and cheese are godly! Favorite Walk: To the park to run for no reason at all! Day care is a great plus for lots of smells Best Tricks: She's smart but not so knowledgable. It's been taking a while to train some fun tricks. She now knows sit, down, and shake :) Arrival Story: Oh yes, I found out from a close friend that they were temporarily housing a dog/puppy and wanted me to check her out (with my dog knowledge) They didn't know if they wanted to keep the dog or not (Since they're not really 'dog' people) They got her from a friend of the family's grandparent's friend (I know a bit confusing) but the person Odie started with was handicapped and couldn't take care of a surprise gift. It turned out that my friend's family didn't want to keep Odie and asked if my family would like her. We discovered that she was VERY calm and relaxed for a puppy and found out that her back right leg was walking funny. But none the less it was a new training challenge. My parents let me take her in. Before I had her she'd been named about 4 different things Daisey, Odie, Kazi and some other wild name. It would make more sense to pick a name she already has had so I chose Odie. Bio: I have been self teaching Odie and it's been going great. Her surgery was a success and the healing process was completely normal and she's spunky like a puppy should. Her other back leg is having the same genetic problems as the other but the Doc' says it's fine as long as it isn't causing her any problems. :) Forums Motto: -looks for things to chase- The Groups I'm In: !(!~*Jack-A-Poos*~!)!, Star Wars Fans , Cesar's Dogster Pack, Milwaukee Dogs, SE Wisconsin Dogs, The FURminator® Group For Dogs, Velcro Dogs, Wisconsin doggies and kitties! I had an anal glad burst the other day :( It's horribly uncomfortable and i can't help but chew at it. Mom noticed the other night and soaked my butt and cleaned it out but it was bleeding for a while and hurt A LOT!!!! She then put me in my crate with a towel over my bed pad and put this nasty cone on my head so I can't reach my butt :(
I heard her say "VET" on the phone today. I like the vet I hope they will make it better! :)
So mom's on the hunt for treats with LOTS of fiber for me because Elsie doesn't need as much fiber as I do.
