Best Tricks:
Begging for a treat. She will put her head in your lap and stare until you give in. She also gives you her paw -- alternating between the two until you give her a treat.

Arrival Story:
Metria came to us when she was seven. She's the product of a broken home and neither of our divorcing friends could keep her. She's the most pettable dog in the world and she even has a business card.

Bio:
Metria has the kindest face of any dog I've ever known. She has a gentle look about her. She loves to howl...and has taught Jake the art of dawg howling with style and finesse. She also likes to bark at things that need barking at (horses, squirrels, cats, etc.) UPDATE: Bless her heart, she lived to see her 15th birthday, but couldn't do much beyond that. On May 1st 2006, we had to say good bye to our wonderful princess and let her go ahead to wait for us at Rainbow Bridge. Metria's mind was solid, her body was firm, but her back legs kept her a prisoner. She could no longer stand up or walk. It was time to let her go. Metria: March 22, 1991-----May 1, 2006
