Arrival Story:
Lady was rescued from a deplorable puppy mill, she was so infected an eye had to be removed and later the other one too. Who knows how many pups she had, she was there 7 years, in unbeleivable conditions. Rescued by "Tears of Joy Animal Rescue" -no longer operating due to lack of volunteers- and Caledon Mountain Vet Clinic who helped fix her up after rescue.
Bio:
Lady was so forgiving of humans, she loved everyone. She also had no fear of other big, vicious dogs, she would want to go after them if they were barking at us. Also a champion swimmer, she loved rivers. She had epilepsy that was controlled, and a thyroid issue also controlled. She developed stomach cancer which unfortunately we could not control, she passed away July 28th 2006 in my arms.
