Arrival Story:
I called a local humane society and asked about small dogs. I was told there was one dog but I probably wouldn't like him, he's hyper. My sister and I packed up my cocker spaniel and headed to meet this hyper dog. He was the calmest dog in the kennel area, he became a super ball when alone in the greeting room. He made me laugh the entire time. When I took him to meet my cocker they just sniffed one another and walked away, that's not a bad start. When I told the woman of mydesire to adopt Cyrus she again tried to talk me out of it. Telling me what a hyper breed he was and how he would always be that way. I told her I understood and another worker smiled and told her "I think she can handle him." And with that Cyrus joined our family.
