Arrival Story:
My mom knew a family that constantly bought dogs from petsmart and then would need to find homes for them (this happened atleast three different times). Frankee's name was originally Peanut. I'm pretty sure they wanted to find a new home for her because she kept peeing and pooping in the house. We got her, I changed her name, she instantly took to me. We had trouble potty training her as well. At the time I was in highschool, and as a family we made the decision to give her to our family friends. We later found out that she was tied up to a tree in their backyard because she wasn't potty trained. She was extremely thin, and when they went out boating they'd throw her in the water. We immediatly got her back and she was with us ever since then.
Bio:
About a year ago we went camping and left our dogs. A family friend was pet sitting. She was giving the dogs gizards and putting them back in their cages after letting everyone out and Frankee ran into Vixxen's cage. Vixxen soon ran in after, and then she attacked Frankee. She ended up shaking Frankee out, and we think she punctured a lung. Sadly, I wasn't there to protect her. I don't blame our family friend, she did everything she could and I know she never ever wanted that to happen and didn't intentionally let it happen. All I know is that I'm never leaving my dogs in the care of someone else. Vixxen had never shown signs of any sort of aggression, accept on the occassions when the dogs would get in a fight. Frankee is missed every single day.
