Arrival Story:
We ran into a person who rescues animals and needed to find a home for this dog quickly. We took him, and soon noticed he limped. To the vet he went and we learned he has congenital hip displasia.
Bio:
He is babied and pampered. He loves to chase his ball and run. He is doing better than anyone expected and hardly has a limp. There are days he wants to be lazy, and that is ok.

And why did mom allow it. The truck belongs to us dogs (and dad) and you cats get the Honda. Don't mess with our system. No cats in the truck unless in a carrier on the way to the vet.

I was barking at two visiting large dogs across the street. Yes, I realize they were across the street, but since I could see them I had to bark. Lexi remained surprisingly quiet. Mom came out to see what was bugging me and saw the two dogs...waaaay over there....she told me to "get over it" Then, in disgust I made all kinds of funny groans and grumbles and just laid down....then one final groan. Mom was laughing at me. I think Lexi was giggling, but I could not be sure. Glad Dad wasn't here. How embarrassing.

All my Dogster friends have been telling me how miserable their weather is, either heat, flooding, both, crazy rain that wont stop, hail. Oh brother! Well, here is So Cal it is HOT. I do not like being a HOT DOG, so I took it upon myself to dig a nice big hole in the dirt and stay there until the sun gues down. We eat early, so then Lexi and I are lazy dogs. We sleep with one eye open all day. (Gotta watch for the mailman). Then when it finally cools off, we play and bark and cause trouble. Fun, Fun, Fun. It is starting to cool down only to heat back up on the weekend. I am going back into my dirt hole now. Bark at you later, when it cools off.
