Stormy's Big Adventure

Meeting Storm

New neighbors moved in next door. We live on 5 acres so there was a small distance from our house to theirs. When I first saw Storm she was wet and shaking and very timid. She had got out of her yard and came up a trail to my house. I really did try to make her go home but she kept coming back. Her owners made a fence with hot wire to try to keep her in and that didn't work. Storm started spending more and more time with me {i used to bring her in the house and warm her up and let her sleep on my couch}. She lived with two other big dogs and none of them were ever allowed in the house, besides the big dogs didn't like her. As time went on Storm was with me every day and we fell in Love. Her owners came up one day and put a leash on her and dragged her home. My heart was broken, what could I say, she belonged to someone else. Anyway I stood at my window and watched for her to come back. After two days she didn't. I was so heart broken I called the owners and told them my story with Storm. They were nice but said, I'm so sorry we took her to the city to be with another dog, and she broke loose and is lost. Okay ,now I am going crazy, thankfully I had taken a million pictures of her already so I made flyers and the owners took them down to where she was lost and posted them. I got a call the next day to say they have found Storm and that she will now belong to me. They picked her up from Sacramento and brought her to me. They said Diane I guess she loves you. This is a true love story and I feel so special to have her in my life. She is 6 now and never leaves my side. Except to play with her sister Maly Panna
