Time Flies.......

Kodiak Turned 8 on the 13th of November......It made us hold our breath. We lost his brother Indy while he was 8 and with each Akita we fall more in love. Kodi has been my boy as I started working in my own home office in 2005. He has been my almost constant companion. He and my husband remind me daily what makes me Thankful.......Happy Thanksgiving to all who read this.

an Update and Reminder

Hello all my friends,
I thought I would just help you remember I have a birthday coming
soon......Next month is November you know.
So does my Dad.
He is still older than I am, even in people years.
My birthday list goes like this .........Treats and Toys........soft squeaky ones.

New Life Style

I am going to tell you about the changes in my life......My mom stays home with me every day now. She may be at the computer or working on projects for people but she's with ME!!!!!!!
She is taking me to these things called rodeos where she works with her camera. I have never seen so many funny things.....Horses with people trying to catch calves. horses running around barrels. There are alot of little people there too......So many DOGS running loose.
I also have had company again. Norm and Jan came back just to see me.
They did not stay long enough :-( Mom says I pouted when they left.
You tell me is one day long enough to train prople to get my treats when
I want them.....well maybe. Woof.

Last camping report

Well that's it for this year the camper got put away in the shed for the winter.
We had a really fun weekend.....We walked and we walked and the squirrels and deer were EVERYWHERE!!!! WOW are they afraid of me. I just stand there and they stay away or run away and all I want to do is play......
We napped too while it rained, I snored so loud that Mom laughed until Dad woke up and listened to me-he laughed until I woke up;-) OOPS!
I was just practicing for those cold winter days on their way.
Now I want to know when it is going to snow.....Camping then snow plowing. Have you ever dropped your head in the snow and plowed until your face was white?

Camping this WEEKEND!!!

We get to go camping this weekend. Mom thinks I don't know she put toys and food in for me....HEHE she's WRONG!!!!! I know I am going. Mom and Dad are talking about staying at the same place that they let me off the leash before. Do you think they will do it again? Maybe not:-( ...........But they will walk me every time I think I need to be walked and that is ALOT!!!!
I'll write more about our weekend next week. Maybe it will snow. Then I can tell about my two favorite things.

Mom and Dad GONE!!!!!

Whew! I was getting really worried. Mom and Dad had been gone FOREVER!!! They say it was only 10 days but they weren't the one home alone (remember the movie?) Well okay I admit that the neighbor lady does feed me (okay and she does cook great Puppy stew) and the other friend comes to see me and give me treats and lets me out to play. And yeah the neighbor that feeds me her husband comes and plays catch and talks to me while they let me have the run of the whole yard.

BUT they left me alone!!!!!!

They are home and I am excited to see them.
No more vacations for them.

It SNOWED ALOT!!!!! Woof

I had a blast today......SNOW........SNOW 10 inches of SNOW.......
I ran and ran until Mom and Dad laughed at me. There was so much snow I had to watch that I didn't lay under the edge of the roof. The snow slid off big time. I was happy to play in my back yard full of snow. Until I got so tired I just laid on the living r0om floor while my people watched a movie. There were not any dogs so it was BOARING!!!! I slept and then went to play in the snow some more...........YIPPEE

More company

This time our company was from Wisconsin. They were related to Mom.....These people really were not used to dogs in the house, so Mom and Dad left me in the yard to PLAY......PLAY........and Play some more. WOOF!!
Fun times but my people were not outside alot. Uncle Jack came into the yard and boy did I bring him toys.....He wasn't sure what to do with them. I threw them in the air so he could catch on. Oh well maybe the next one will figure out. Bring back Janet and Norm.....He played!

Camping comes to an end 2005

Well we made it camping one more time. I really had fun. I saw my friends from Livingston. Todd thinks I am cute. He thinks I should go home with him.

He gave me chicken strips because I am such a GOO_OO_D BOY!! Woof.....
Again with the little dogs that run loose and want to come my way they make Mom and Dad nervous.....Why do their people think because they think their little dogs are cute when they challenge us BIG DOGS.....they really are invincible. I did not eat the little spaniel I did not even bark when he growled.
But I was thinking "Bring It On....I've beaten way bigger then you. Just one bite?"

Mom and Dad really get relaxed when we camp we should camp more.

Please remember if you take my Pup-pals out in the woods, they should still be under your control and not running free. If the signs say put us on a lease it is for our own protection.

Camping trip

Well I think I won...We are going camping this weekend. Dad says it is the last trip before the camper is put away for the weekend. I think we are just going a little ways and not into the mountains. But I think it will be lots of fun I will give you details next week. I also got a new gorilla, BUT I am not going to let Mom get her hands on the yellow monkey she calls road kill. She can't have it!!!!! I hid it in my bed(don't let her read this, it is for your eyes only).
