Arrival Story: Odie came to us at a time when the last thing we were thinking about was having a 3rd dog. He was being cared for by the wonderful Mary Lou, a very close friend of our daughter, Dana after he lost his owner and didn't have a home. Mary Lou took him in, but she was caring for her own dogs and a new litter of puppies - so Dana volunteered to keep Odie for a few weeks (Dana and her husband, Matt have their own dog, AC our awesome "grandpuppy"). We met Odie, heard his story and there was no choice for us; we had to have him. We fell in love with the little guy and never looked back. He has been an exceptional addition to our family. Our two older dogs, Duffy and Boomer loved him and he loved them. He became acclimated in our home within days. He brings us joy every day. All you have to do is look at him and you can't help but smile!
Bio: Daddy has nicknamed him "Whatchamacallit" because he says there's no way that Odie is a dog. He climbs and perches like a cat, he "flies" from the floor to a piece of furniture to another piece of furniture like a flying squirrel! He loves playing with his toys. But he really loves cuddling! He curls up with his brother, Bruno whenever he can -- just like he used to do with his brother, Boomer. He likes to cuddle with his humans, and sometimes with his other brother, Duffy. He plays until he collapses and then all he wants to do is sleep. When it's time for bed, Odie is the first one to run upstairs and get in his bed. That is, unless he's so comfy on the sofa that he refuses to move. Of course, we all know that this is just a ploy to get Mommy to carry him upstairs! He loves his newest brother, Bruno and he truly loved his brothers, Duffy and Boomer. He also loves his nephew, A.C. (except when A.C. bites his face!).

The Last Forum I Posted In: MUFFIN IS BACK!!!!!!!!
I am such a lucky wittle Puggy boy! I had a terrific birfday pawty on Sunday (one day before my birfday) and so many of my family members came. And guess what? My nephew, Baby AC came, too! And his mommy, my human sister, Dana, made sugar-free pupcakes for us and they were D-licious! My Daddy and Mommy made "muttballs" with pasta - a Rachel Ray recipe - for all the four legged birfday guests. And that was D-licious, too! Boomer and Duffy really liked them!
And guess what else?? I got lots and lots and lots of presents!!! I wuv my birfday! And I got lots of birfday wishes from my wonderful Dogster pals, too! I am a lucky, lucky boy!!!
It doesn't seem possible, but tomorrow, August 25, is the one year annifursary of when my Mommy and Daddy brought me to my furever home. We were all looking forward to celebrating (we're having a BBQ on Sunday and my nephew, Baby AC is coming!!) but can you believe this .... I'm in an E-Collar AGAIN! I was bitten by some kind of insect on the side of my face and it got really red and very swollen. My vet had to shave the side of my face :-( and I'm on a couple of different medicines. And ... I have to wear this annoying e-collar AGAIN! Mommy takes it off for me so I can eat and drink, but then she puts it right back on. Bummer. Maybe I'll be able to take it off a bit more tomorrow on my annifursary! Happy annifursary to me!!!

Like Muffin says, it sure is hard to only pick three. I have so many wonderful Dogster friends, so picking three is tough. Number one on my list would always be Muffin, but she’s already been tagged so I’m going to do my best to share the love!

Let me start with my delightful friend, Mr. Bubble Head! Who wouldn’t love this adorable guy? He’s thoughtful, he’s fun and he’s a great representative of our Pug breed! He’s always there when I need him, even though he is across the ocean in the United Kingdom! Thanks for being such a good friend, Mr. Bubble Head!
Then there’s Rusty. He’s a beautiful, older Cocker Spaniel like my brother, Duffy and he’s also a great friend. And, he’s a Jersey boy like me!
Last, and certainly not least, is the caring and entertaining Postal. Postal is charming, caring and like Mommy says, such a cutie pie! And, his birthday is tomorrow! He’ll be a year old on Saturday, July 14th!! Happy Birthday, my good friend Postal! You are a super friend!
