Arrival Story:
I was adopted from SOAR (Southport-Oak Island Animal Rescue) in September of 2003. It was really tough for me to find a home, not because I'm not the sweetest, most handsome dog ever (because I am), but because I was holding out for mom to come get me. A few people expressed interest in me before her, but I wasn't too thrilled with them. Mom adopted me on a "trial" basis at first because she didn't know how I'd do in her apartment and with her cat. But I'm not picky, I was just happy to be loved and I also love chasing the cat! Mom and I became fast friends and I've been her best friend ever since!
