An Organization I belong to.

Ok for those out there who live in and around the Houston area if you want to help fellow animals check this organization out. please.


I am currently involved in a new organization that a good friend has in vision and I would like to see it grow and be the best that I know it can be. So that's where all of ya'll come in to play.



The nonprofit organization is H.A.R.P.

(Humane Animal Rescue Program)
Take in all injured, abandoned and those that are not cared for.

Evey little bit helps what we can really use are volunteers, especially foster parents , the more foster parents we have the more animals we can help.



If you have no use for you coke cans and throw them away think of us and save them and bring to us and we will recycle them and all the money goes to H.A.R.P. to help more animals.



Another way to help is, if you have stuff laying around your house that you would like to get rid of , please think of us and donate it to us for are garage sale and all the money benefits all the animals we help.



If you are not able to do any of that come by and see are garage sale and buy some stuff that will benefit animals what better way to spend your money. information for when it is being held and location is on the website.



If you still want to help and can't do any of this please spread the word to all you animal loving friends re post this in your bulletin or on other website that you're apart of and ask them to stop by the website------>

News from the Vet

So, my mom went to work today and spoke with the Doctor, and they told her about my possible illness.. see for the past year I have had problems with inflammed gums and the discoloration of pigment around my nose and lips. mom took me to the vet and she was told it looks like I scrap the pigment off possible being cause from OCD (obessive compulsive disorder) of rubbing my nose on things which I do and my gums were normal. however they did find that I ended up having bad blood work showed I was possibly in liver failure or kidney disease and turns out I had a bladder infection. An ultrasound was recommended to rule out a mass in my bladder because there were possible cancer cells in my urine sediment, but my mom was still worried. So when a new vet came to work with her, she asked for her opinion and with out seeing me she told mom that its possible its lupus thats what it sounds like and prescribe this medication to use which mom still has not got becuase she wanted to research it. So yesterday mom took me to get my teeth clean but when she came to pick me up she did not have a chance to speak to the doctor, SO today when she went to work the Doctor told her that she recommends a biopsy of my nose to get a different diagnosis but she is 99.9% sure that It is DLE which is Disoid Lupus Erythematosus which is an autoimmune disease humans can have it too. which is where my own antibodies attack my normal skin Its not contagious its likey that one of my parents have it..prognosis is good but means I will be on meds long term it can get worse it will never be back to normal, if its not DLE it could be somthing more serious. So keep you paws crossed mom has to discuss with dad about the biopsy but she is not going to do it right now since I just had my teeth clean she wish they told her yesterday and she would of done then since I was already under anesthesia now I have to go back and be sedated again. not fair!

Day at the Vet

This morning my mom woke me up real early and said we were going for a ride. I was so excited and could not wait. I love car rides. Then we showed up at Petsmart which means I get to pick out a toy. Boy was I wrong there is a vet inside that place. she took me there and put me in a run and said she loved me and to be good and she would pick me up later. I was upset I thought she might forget about me, because that is what happen to me before by my previous owners. So then I was given a shot that made me drowsy and they drew my blood and place a cather in my leg, then last thing I knew I was in a deep sleep chasing bunnies through the field then I woke up back in the run. I was sleepy, coul dbarely walk. then I looked up and saw my mommy she came to get me. She asked me if I was good and I think I nodded my head. I'm not sure I was tired and she told me what had heppen I got my teeth clean and my nails trimmed really short and she brought me home so that I coul dgo to bed and rest. She told me I should feel better by tomorrow and want to eat. So I no longer have bad breath, but I didn't know I had bad breath to begin with. Well I posted a picture of me in the run at her vet.
