Well, today is the day that we celebrate my birthday since I am a rescue. We chose the 4th of July because it represents freedom and independence and I like to think that I got that when I found my new family. I hope you enjoy your 4th of July as much as I will with my family.

Well, it's getting to be that time of year again. Yes, it's my birthday, right around the corner. Now since mommy and daddy rescued me in the summer and don't actually know when I was really born, every year we celebrate my birthday in July, since that's when I was rescued. And this year will be no different. Now, first on my birthday wish list is a turkey...a whole one, just for me!!!! Yeah, with lots of dressing and cranberry sauce. Just like the kind mommy makes when it's Thanksgiving. Next on my list is a day-long belly rub. After that, I would like to run around in the dirt and NOT take a bath afterwards. And thats all I want, not much. Well, thanks for listening.
