Its been since 4 months since my adoption day. Here's a little song about family:
Always there,
To warm you in the winter.
Always there,
With shelter from the rain.
Always there,
To catch you when you're falling.
Always there to stand you up again
Family...
By your side.
In seconds if you ask it.
Arms out wide,
To welcome you to stay.
Near enough,
To listen to your hearts song.
Always there to help you on your way
Family
What is a family?
Caring and devoted hearts.
With endless love to share,
Love that follows you everywhere.
Family

"I can't speak for all dogs,
Not all dogs are alike.
And not all dogs have the same experiences..."
-Squrriel, a stray dog (Ann M. Martin)
It's been a month since they got me at the shelter.
It feels good to have a home.
They are pretty sure I was treated badly by previous owners, because I am always so scared.
I guess I have had a hard knock life.
I've met humans who were gentle,
and others who were brutal.
It's a great to be treated with the gentlest touch.
And to be...
Loved

Yesterday I found my furever home. I got a new family, a new sister named Tracksie and met lots of other beagleys on dogster.
Although, yesterday at 10:00p.m., my mum opened the door and I ran out! I ran fast, and my mom went chasing after me in the street, calling my name. Then, I made a turn for the forest. It was really dark, and my mom kept on running after me. She couldn’t see a thing! I went deeper and deeper as she followed the white tip of my tail. Then I went so far, she couldn’t see me anymore. She stopped; she was far in the woods in the middle of the night. She turned back, and called for me. I was gone. I guess she was really sad. She hadn’t even had a day with me and lost me.
She called for me, and called, and took a flashlight outside with her. She even made some “LOST DOG” papers. She thought that nobody would even turn me back in, since I was as she said a Beautiful Beagle
She couldn’t sleep that night.
Then, at about 4:00a.m. Tracksie was barking. Mum looked out the window and didn’t see anything. Tracksie kept on barking. Mum went outside and there I was, standing on the front porch.
She couldn’t believe it! I was home. She had heard about dogs finding their way back home, but I guess she thought that I hadn’t been there long enough.
She took me in her arms and cried. Then she started laughing. I looked terrible. I had dirt, and mud, all over me, and leaves.
She took me a bath and let me lie in her lap. She was glad I was home.
Now, my nickname will be MIRACLE.
