Arrival Story:
I adopted Bubba from a local no-kill shelter. He was my first dog (of my own--I had always had dogs growing up), so it was important to me to find the "right one" for me. My mom and I had gone out on a Saturday looking at the local animal shelter and the local no-kill shelters. I had looked and looked, but no one dog really captured my attention--until Bubba! I have mobility issues, so I needed a dog who was gentle with an even temperment. Bubba seemed like the dog for me. However, when I went up to adopt him, I was given even more proof as to why he was perfect for me--his former owner ended up being a girl who I had gone to school with. She and I have the same first name and the same last initial and were always getting mistaken for one another in school. I knew then that was the sign I needed to let me know Bubba was the dog for me!

Yippeee!!! I am such a HAPPY dog!!! I have always loved where I have lived with my human mommy, but I am even happier now. Wanna know why? Ok, here goes......My human mommy and I recently moved from an apartment into a house. You know what that means, right? Of course you do!!! I have a backyard to play in!!!! YEAH!!! I love my new yard. I have had SO much fun playing and sunning in my new backyard. Take a look at my photobook and you can see for yourself how happy I am about my new backyard.
Well, I have to go for now. Until my next entry, WOOF, WOOF, to all my furry friends out there.

Good Day All,
My human mommy wrote a poem about me. It is entitled, "My Dog Bubba". I wanted to share it with you. It tells all about how much she loves me and how she feels blessed to have me in her life. Enjoy!
