Arrival Story:
Honey was a stray. A friend asked me if I wanted another dachshund and I said yes. Honey barked at me when we first met but we became fast friends. She is jealous of Winston since after Buddy and Gabby left she was an only child for awhile. She is very stubborn like most dachshunds. She loves to lick faces and loves to sit on my lap all the time.

Bio:
Poor Honey lost an eye recently. Fritz bit her in the face and damaged her eye. She is healing nicely and has adjusted well to being a one eyed dog. I need to make a pretty eye patch for her. Sad, sad news. I am heartbroken. Honey passed away Dec 6, 2009. She died peacefully in my arms.
