Arrival Story:
ok so i had just had to get rid of my other dog cause she was too much for me to handle(which i totally regret) and me and my mom were planning on getting another weiner dog. but one day i saw an add on the internet classifieds for border collie puppies. they were only $125. so i asked my mom if we could go take a look at them and she said yes after like an hour of begging. so we go out with my bro`s girlfriend(which is now his ex) and we got lost on the way there cause its like an hour out of san antonio and we were driving the wrong way for like an hour. meanwhile it started thunderstorming and my mom was cussing up a storm. so we call again and finally we got there. so they take us in the garage and i see all these black and white fur balls come running! that was a moment ill never forget. but umm yea so i asked the lady about her female puppy`s and her and her daughters got all the female puppies. and me not knowing too much on how to pick a border collie puppy, i picked the one with the thickest white line going between the eyes. cause thats what i adored most about the markings. so i picked freckles(layla). she was the one with the most freckles out of them all. she looked just like her momma. so after begging for like an hour i convinced my mom to let me get freckles. but then my mom was like "oh well i dont like the long fur, look at the father ouside" cause he was wet and muddy from the rain. and finally after promising the world to her. she lets me get her. so my mom bargins with the people to go down to $115 and they agree. and meanwhile im trying to get freckles from under the car in the garage(she was sleeping). and so i finally got her. everything is all good and we go out to the car. i get in. and when we drive off their property, the male border collie starts circling the car and barking. so im just sitting there happy as can be and i think to my self "what am i doing, do i really want this responsibility" so while were driving back i ask my mom "what should i name her?" and i was like how about layla, cause i had been planning that name before i ever got her. so finally we get back in san antonio, stop at H.E.B and get a collar and some more food ect. we finally get home and i let her go pee. i go to my neighbors house to show my ant karen what i had just got. they are all happy and said their "oohs and aahs". i come home and plop her on my bro while he`s sleeping. he was all happy and playing with her too. so me and her go outside in the back yard and im running around the yard and she`s following me.all the other dogs are still like "whats this" cause we had bandit and chi-chi at the time. by that time it was almost dark and we go to bed. after my mom cussing saying how she doesnt want a big dog on her bed. :P well thanx for reading.
