Arrival Story:
My brother's wife had a terrier and their nieghbor had a registered pug. The pug got out and my brother got a litter of puppies. I went to his house to play with the puppies and fell in love with Snuggels. She was the only puppy that wasn't chewing on my shoelaces...she was laying on my shoes instead. I took her in and she snuggled up between my neck and shoulder. That's how she got her name. My dad said no and my mom said merry early christmas. I have had her ever since. She is my best friend. we built a house and snuggels has lived with us for the past 2 years and i have loved every minute of it! i knew i missed her while she was living at my parents house while we lived in a rental but i had no idea how much. now when we visit my parents she makes sure i am not out of her sight. she doesn't want me to leave her there. its nice to know that she missed me too! snuggels is getting older and is starting to have health problems. she has a lot of trouble eating and having diarrhea or vomiting. i have changed her diet so when she is having trouble she gets rice and cottage cheese. recently that didn't work either. she is now trying to eat beniful soft food and starting to be able to eat and keep it down. hope it works. i have already warned my boss at work that she is worse this time and loosing weight. it would be an unexcused absence but at least my boss understands and says that she won't write me up for it. i am enjoying snuggels to the fullest for as long as i get to have her!
