Sorry this has taken so long!
Name 4 jobs that you have: Helping Mom keep stay on her feet, reminding Mom that it's time for my noontime snack, picking up things that Mom drops, and telling Mom to go to bed so she doesn't get a migraine

Name 4 places you'd rather be: NOT in class! bol., playing at the tennis courts, getting belly rubs off duty at the BSM, visiting my Auntie
7 things about me are: My favorite toy is my duck-duck, I love taking off Mom's socks, I didn't drool at all for the first 6 months Mom and I were together (then I just decided to let loose at dinner time), I've been told that I snore REALLY loud --I snored in the middle of a midterm last semester!, I like homemade Frosty Paws, I can pick up a dime, and I have my own cave at work-- the Awesome Dog Cave!

I just found out that Mom is going to make me a homemade Frosty Paw for our 2nd anniversary! I'm so excited!
And Mom said that she's so happy that she found plain yogurt without sugar this time --last time, she could only find the kind with sugar and I kind of went nuts for a bit!
It's hard to believe that on the 23rd, Mom and I will have been together for 2 years! Wow! Time sure flies by!
I will be 6 in January, but I still have plenty of spunk and work left in me! I tell Mom not to worry about the fact that I'm getting older --she's been worried since our friend Drummer just retired recently at age 10 after being with his partner for 8 years. And then I sprained a leg playing at the lake a few weeks ago. 3 days of rest, and I am good as new!
I keep telling Mom that I will let her know when I'm ready to retire. But I have no plans to quit anytime soon! Mom, we will be walking across the stage together when you graduate from college in May! And we'll have several years together after that! I will be your loyal helper and friend as long as I can! I may be middle-aged, but I'm not an old woman yet!

We went out to our college minister's property and I had so much fun! I swam in the lake and rolled in the mud. I stole the football from some friends who were playing. I got to run around like crazy! (see my new picture?)
Mom was a party pooper who stayed by the fire most of the time 'cause she said she was cold--ha! it was perfect weather for me!

My mom had surgery on Monday. I've been keeping an extra-close eye on her! When Mom gets up and wheels the wheelchair to go to the bathroom, I personally escort her there and back --have to make sure she's ok and be ready to help! I take my job very seriously!
I'm busy trying to make sure Mom doesn't try to do too much too soon --all I have to do is give her a certain look and she knows that she needs to rest. I've been doing a very good job of taking care of Mom!
Oh, and today is my 5th birthday! I know Mom has something special for me --there sure were good smells coming from the kitchen last night! She says I have to wait though --can't have it just yet. Darn.

Mom and I are pretty tired. We went to the photographer at the mall today to get our picture taken. I was a little excited when the man was making funny noises, but I did very well and we got a nice picture! (It's on my page at the bottom). It took a little while to get this pose, because I was a little confused about why Mom was asking me to "Go Pay" on this thing!

Man, Pebbles and I are SO glad that Maverick is no longer living with us. My friend/roommate Laura moved into her new apartment and took Maverick over there. We are glad not to live with the Satan cat anymore--he would pee in Pebbles' water bowl and on her toys/bandanas/anything in her box. He would also swat and growl at her.
Laura said he calmed down a lot in the new apartment and now purrs all the time --must be relieved to be away from my playful Pebbles!
I'll keep Maverick's page up--I made it for Laura, but don't know how to put it under her name.
