I searched and searched for dream JRT puppy and finally found Moosey at a breeder in Parker, Colorado. He was 4 weeks old when we met and he ran right up to me and got in my lap. It was love at first bark. I bought him right away. At seven weeks the breeder called me to tell me to come pick up Moose because she couldnt sell any other of the puppies because everyone wanted to buy Moose. I got Moose a week early and we had so much fun at Pet Smart picking out his new kennel, treats, toys, ect... We snuggled and cuddled right away and have ever since. Bio: We spent about 5 years in Colorado together, hiking and having fun adventures there. Our favorite places to walk there were 10 mile trail, Arapahoe National Forest and Lake Dillon. We traveled alot around the mountains, southwest and west coast together. Once, we traveled down to Arizona and hiked around Sedona and the Grand Canyon, and camped. Moose loved his first big vacation. We also road tripped to California and the Midwest several times. He loves his Grandma in Iowa and spent 6 months in Iowa Hog Heaven, Grandma loves to spoil Moosey. We relocated to California in 01...but the fun didnt stop there, we have since then continued fun road trips and adventures all over the country. Moose loves exploring and having fun at any expense. Moose spends most of his time with his Mommy Jes and his Daddy James. He loves to hang around the house and guard his lil' hill. He pals around with his good buddy Disco. He watches 'his' gopher holes and waits...
Moose loves the weekends and has the cutest routines on Saturday and Sunday Mornings. He loves to love and be affectionate. Forums Motto: The Regulator The Groups I'm In: 'Just Jacks', SMART JACKS! The other day we went a walkin at our favorite place, where else, the marsh! And Polly and I came across a snake that was sunning himself on the hot rocks of the pathway we were walking, it slithered like crazy trying to get away. We followed it into the brush and sniffed all around but it got away. We were very excited because we dont get to see snakes that close up, so very often.
We sniffed and sniffed all in the tall grasses but the scaley beast had slithered far away.
This prepared us for our next wild life encounter, a little bit later a Skink appeared out of nowhere right in front of us and then dashed off! Polly was quick on the draw and pounced on that crazy Skink right away, it was very exciting. I saw a something wriggling around in the weeds and it was the tail of the Skink! Apparently the tail broke off as the Skink was running away. We didnt not know what to do with this tail that moving all around in the weeds. We took turns picking up the tail and flinging it, that was fun. It was such a funny site to see a moving tail. I wondered where the rest of that lizard went to anyway! I guess when he grows his tail back I will go looking for him again!
