My Life with my mommy

Some sad times

Well we have been having guests here this summer so that has been fun. My boyfriend Juneau has been up for 2 months visiting me and we had so much fun. He is one crazy greyhound I have to tell you. He has two brothers that are italian greyhounds and one of them broke their front leg. I feel so bad for him. Mommy heard him crying over the phone the night after he got home from the doctors. They say he doesn't need surgery though so that is good.

My favorite sister Nikki escaped out of the house and she hasn't come back yet. I miss her so much. She would sleep in my crate with me and clean my ears and even pet my face with her soft paws. She was a crazy little fat cat but I loved her very much. I stand on the porch at night with mommy and I look for her up and down in the woods and on the street but no Nikki.

I have a new best girl friend her name is Athena and her mommy is my skin brother's girlfriend. We just hang out together all the time and show everybody how good we can be hoping we will get treats. Athena's grandma died last week all of a sudden. She was my mommy's age when she died. Now Athena's mommy comes over and she is so sad and Athena and I don't know what to do to make her feel better. We just sit with our heads on her lap and let her pet us as much as she wants.

My mommy missed having the busy action that Nikki would create in the house so she went and adopted 2 kittens from an over full human society. Now when Nikki comes home she will have a brother and sister to play with. They are very small and very BAD. Mommy says she loves it. I just lay there and watch them bouncing off of everything and jumping up in the air after each other. I would never do anything like that.

I have been tripping up the front steps after going potty so mommy has me on a diet.....I am not over weight!!!! Plus she is walking me more to strengthen my legs more so that they will be stronger when I walk up the steps. She is saying if I keep stumbling she will have daddy make a ramp for me. No broken bones for me she says.

Well that is what is going on so far this summer....hope ever one is staying cool and enjoying life..

Happy snow happy

It is snowing!!! I am so happy I just know the it is put there just for me. I am originally from Florida so I have never seen this much. It is so much fun to run around in. Mommy won't come and play with me though. I don't know why. She just stands on the porch and watches me. She says something about it being too cold. I must say my paws do get a bit numb but oh the fun. My mommy says we have to pray though extra now for all the animals with out homes. We tried bringing our friend Buddy in the house so he could be warm and dry but he wanted back out. Well back out to my snow. Roo to all my friends I hope you are all able to enjoy some snow in your life time cause it is fun.......

In celebration of Tommy Toes getting better

My friend on myspace Tommy Toes had to be rushed to the vet because he was very sick. As soon as they got there the doctor put an IV in Tommy and did x-rays and blood tests. Poor Tommy. He had to stay the night. His pancreas was really swollen. It was from a store bought doggy chew treat. Well he came home the next afternoon and is getting stronger each day. Yippy. I am so happy. My mommy was so happy she went and bought me a can of dog food to celebrate Porterhouse steak in juice and gravy....yummy. She feed it you me on a fork as we talked about how luck we were to have our friend back home. Our whole family is friends with him and his mommy. Mommy even got my kitty family cans of special tasting food just for the occation. My mommy is a bit silly now isn't she....but we aren't complain cause it sure tastes good....woof.
