Arrival Story:
Sparky was my husband's dog when he was about 8 years old. He was given to him by a friend of his mother.
Bio:
Sparkey lived with my husband and my husband's grandparents. Despite the fact that Sparky had a really large fenced back yard, he hated being behind bars. Unfortunately, as some adults believe, my husband, then a child, was expected to care for Sparky, and when Sparky got out of hand, which was often because no adults worked with him, my husband had to help find Sparky a new home. A family with two children took Sparky into their home, and it seemed like love at first sight. My husband still talks about Sparky, and he and I hope that he had a wonderful life.
