Gambit is a big boy now!

Wow it's been a long time since i have been able to get on here. I was too busy learning to be a VERY good puppy and enjoying the warm weather! When I was born it was chilly outside so I'm really liking summer time. I just learned to like swimming in water too. Daddy pushed me in our pond a few times so I would get used to it, but it really took an in-depth investigation by ME to find out that i love to swim! I fetched the ball out of the middle of the pond over and over and couldn't get enough of it. I even fetched my grandma's bobber she was using at the edge of the pond....woops!! Hope everyone has a great summer of fun!!!!

Home with Mommy

Yesterday, Gambit got to spend the whole day at home with his mom (ME!) and we had a blast. He helped me clean the house by barking at our Roomba to keep it in line and working hard! =) He met a kitty outside that we call Mama because of her many many litters of kittens. She's the only cat that will love on and be nice to Gambit so they hang out now! He also learned that dishwashers are full of yummy tasting dishes and was caught in the act trying to clean them for me.... he thought he was just helping! ;)

Snow Day!

It was so cold this morning that Gambit got to see SNOW for the first time!! He played in it a little but shook it off pretty fast when felt how cold it was. After playing in the snow a little, he had his first trip to his VET! The Hebron Animal Hospital was wonderful from the people's stand point but even though everyone working there was very nice, Gambit didn't have a very good time. BUT he did find out that he is parasite free and very healthy! He has a little dandruff but we will take care of that with some oatmeal shampoo. Later today he was left home alone with his roomcat Calico for a few hours while we attended a Christmas party. Gambit whimpered so much in his play pen and was very happy to see us come home later!

Dog Park Day!

Today was Gambit's first trip to the Dog Park! He got to meet Hannah's german shep./sheltie mix Tucker, his new best friend, and play to his heart's content. He liked the Dog Park but got run over a few times by the bigger dogs, Tucker and a beagle named Sammy, but he was ok! Wait until he is bigger than both of them combined!! Then Gambit got to go to Tucker's house to rough house for a few more hours until it was time to visit his mommy's parents for the first time! They loved him very much and commented on how well behaved and adorable he is! Gambit met a kitty there named Shmoo but the kitty wasn't very friendly so he decided to take a little nap. When he woke up it was time to go visit his mommy's sister, bro-in-law, and nephew. They all loved him too! Gambit loved to jump on Will, mommy's nephew, and make him laugh. He met another dog there named Tika and he tried to play but she wasn't in the mood so he decided to explore the house instead while everyone talked. FINALLY it was time to go home. Gambit slept the whole car ride home and after going potty OUTSIDE (YAY) he passed out on the couch next to Calico, his cat roomy. What a big day for a puppy!=)
