Arrival Story:
I'd been looking for a westie pup for months and finally, the timing was right and a lady told me I had a pick of 3 boys! I drove 4 hours to find 3 adorable little rascals to my utter delight! :) After much consideration among the runt, the sweet oldest, and the mischevious middle one, I decided the little devil that was tearing up the carpet had to be MINE!! He still loves trouble, but oh, he's worth it [(well, mooooost of the time ;) ] !!!

Bio:
Mickey is an extremely energetic dog. He will literally tire you out chasing balls and anything else you'll throw for him to fetch. However, to his credit, he has to be one of the happiest, friendliest dogs I've ever met. Despite how much his roommate (a mini schnauzer) harasses him or steals his toy/food, he just smiles with his pink tongue lolling out and wags his tail as if it's a game. This boy will NEVER hold a grudge (something I guess I should learn from him). After he was neutered, he's been a considerably better companion, just as spunky, but less destructive (-less- being the key word here). Although I complain about how hard it is to be a "single mother" to Mickey, I can't imagine how life would be without this crazy terror in my home! When he's not running around the house, he loves to take over my desk while I'm studying and considers it to be the perfect place to nap (as seen in the picture!)
