Arrival Story:
Bean was about a year old and I was afraid that she would be lonely being that I was in class a lot. I knew that I wanted a dapple and found out about Dottie. She was the last in her litter though. No one picked her because she was too hyper! So, Bean, her soon to be Grandpa, Aunt Tracy, and I drove out to check her out. She didn't seem to hyper to me so I took her home. Little did I know that she actually does have TONS of energy and is obsessive compulsive (like most doxies). Although I get really annoyed and she even drives our guests crazy by demanding that they play ball, I cannot imagine my life without my Dot.

Bio:
On December 5th, 2005, Dottie had back surgery. She had a ruptured disc and was completely paralyzed from the waist down. After the surgery, it was a long road but she is one again walking and playing ball! Thank you to everyone at Dallas Veterinary Surgical Center and the Animal Rehabilition Center - especially Dr. McDonald, Dr. Bayer, Jenny, and Vessie!
