It's been months!

Hi Diary! It's been months since I have written. It has been a tough year. My left leg healed nicely after surgery. Mom was diligent and didn't let me do anything fun for 6 whole months. Except swim. Everything was going great and we were doing so well... then my other knee tore. So I am back to being an invalid again. BORING! This time mom wants to see if we can't fix my leg with a brace. I hate it. It itches and it is constricting. She is not too sure it is working either. She has been very busy lately so we are just going to wait and see. I hope I don't have to have another surgery but I might.

Mom's been practicing animal communication. She really likes it. It's fun because I feel like she can hear me now. Not that well, but she is getting better.

Well, I am off to sleep some more. When did I get to be so old? I am middle aged, not a senoir. I can't wait until I am all healed and we can go on a long walk again. 2009 blows...

BUMMER!

So I haven't written lately because I haven't been feeling too good. I hurt my knee after the holidays and I've been laid up since. I had to have surgery and everything. It was very scary. I started swim a few weeks ago and I am feeling so much better. Mom is going to put up a picture of my surgery and video of swim therapy...

Wow

It's been a loooooong time since I have barked at you diary! We've been so busy though. Agility has really taken off and I LOVE it! We've been going to trials on the weekends to get a feel for the sport and we go to class faithfully every Wendesday. Mom is going to enroll me in some funmatches so I get used to running around in front of a crowd. It's been a blast!

We went to the beach again which was the highlight of my spring but mom forgot the camera. We just did a really long hike the other weekend up to a ghost town. Mom wishes we could do more fun stuff but we are so busy. We are going camping this weekend though! I am soooo excited! I can't wait!

Agility!

Wow! I have been having so much fun lately I haven't had any time to write. Mom and I have been going to agility classes and I LOVE it. It is so much fun and the other dogs in my class are really nice. Mom says I am a natural but sometimes I don't like going through that thing she calls a tire. I love the dog walk and A-frame though. The tunnel is AWESOME!

We've been going to new and better parks lately too. She knows I like new places to sniff and run around in. We didn't like Cougar mountian though. Mom was to worried that there were actual cougars there so she kept me and my BFF Boyd pretty close to her.

I can't wait for the holidays! I always get all sorts of treats from my family when mom isn't looking. Thanksgiving rocked. I got so much Turkey mom was worried about me! I slept well that night.

We went camping!

I LOVE camping. We had so much fun playing in the river and sleeping in the tent. Then we went to the ocean and I played in the waves. The sand went on forever and I could dig and dig and dig... Mom's second job is done so we've been busy recuperating! That is what she calls it. I call it fun and I hope we get to do more of it but mom says maybe next summer...

*SIGH*

Mom is still working her second job. She says she is half way through. It's been rough. I am not used to her being gone during the day. Even if it is only for a few hours. We've got a schedule down now so we do get more walks. I'm getting used to it but I don't really like it. I can't wait until she is done.

Mom's leaving early in the morning and not coming home until it is time for us to open the shop and go to work. She says she is sorry but she has to work another job for awhile. It sucks. Our walks aren't very long anymore. She tries to make up for it on the weekend but it's not the same. She says this is just a temporary gig. I hope so...

White stuff!

I love this cool white stuff that is everywhere! It is sooo much fun to run around in it and sniff everything I can. Today we went to the park and it was all over the bushes and I would rub up against them and all the white stuff would fall on me. It was great! Mom doesn't let me stay out in it very long though. She gets too cold. If she had fur like me it wouldn't be a problem...

I love my new stuffed toy!

Mom got me and Boyd a new stuffed toy for Christmas. We have had so much fun playing with them. When he puts his down I pick it up and then he takes mine. Mom is proud of us for being so good and sharing but she did get a little annoyed when we pulled the stuffing out of one of them. But it is so much fun! You have to get the squeeky part out! That's the best...

Boyd and I are very tired after all our fun so we've been napping a lot.

Christmas is coming....

and mom tried to hide the Christmas gifts but I know where they are... and I am going to guard them in case my best friend tries to get to them first. He may be my friend but I am not sharing my Christmas toy with him.
