I went to Pittwater yesterday. Boy of boy was it fun!!!! I got to swim and play with loads of other dogs. I swam so much that I swollowed lots of saltwater and got the runs. Mum and dad had to pick up my doggie doos and they weren't happy but I thought it was funny!!!

I had a great Christmas Day and an awesome Boxing Day. We went to Cafe Bones and I got to meet lots of new doggies. There were ones with died ears and tails and a very beautiful husky girl with odd eyes. She was in the water and I thought I'd give it a go much to my parents suprise. They thought I didn't like water. I had a very very long walk and lots of running around with all the doggies. Can't wait to go back there again!

What a big day it was for me.
First in the morning, my parents took me to Monikas doggie rescue. They took me to meet this corgi x girl. She was very pretty but bit me and mad me cry when all I went to do was give her a lick. She drew blood. So mummy said no way, she doesn't want me to be bashed up.
So then we looked at a little jack russel x. She was very nice until we got home. She's so naughty and keeps growling at me but mummy is already setting the boundaries (thanks mum) so she should soon learn that we have to live together. Mum says that she'll help me lose weight. I'm getting extra long walks and am on a diet but am still putting on weight because all I do when I'm waiting for my parents to get home is sleep. Because she's an excitable Jack Russell she runs all over the place.
Then we both went to Kellyville pets to have photo with Santa Paws and tell him what we want for Christmas. We have to pick up the photos next weekend, so mummy promised she'd help me upload them for all to see.
What a big day....I'm glad to be home.....*panting with tongue hanging out*

Well guys, there is so much I'd like to tell you.........
I'm an Akita cross (you may like to take a guess at what I'm mixed with) and I was rescued from the RSPCA when I was around 2-3 years of age. I'm a very happy well adjusted boy and love all people and doggies.
Most of this you can find on my website www.yvonnegoldsmith.com/bear
6th December - I won a "Bone Award" in class tonight. Mummy was so proud of me, I was heeling really well and did a really good but funny recall that made everyone laugh at me. Most of the other doggies at class are little so when they run in their recalls the other owners always ooh and ahh, but I'm not little so instead, I made them laugh by almost bowling my mum over. I was just so keen to do the recall. Also, I'm no longer on my halti, I hated that thing!!!!
3rd November - My story and some of my pictures made it to the RSPCA Success Story site: Take a look here http://www.roar.org.au/animals_online/success_stories.htm
1st November - My picture has made another website. Go to www.operationtoby.com.au and scroll part way down the page. Me and my mummy are the icon you click on to view successful animal adoption stories. I'm so glad that the word is spreading about rescuing animals *wagging tail rapidly*.
24th October - I've been promoted at doggy training.......I've been in the same class for 3 months. I'm so excited.....WOOF!
18th October - I won the dog and handler of the month award after winning 3 bone awards in classes during September. My photo is no longer available on the site but you can see the current dog and handler of the month at: http://www.bktc.org.au/training.html
