Arrival Story:
I remember the day mummy and daddy came to the RSPCA. They drove through the driveway and I could hear them oohing and aahing when they saw me. I'd been there for a few months already and had been at the RSCPA in Dubbo before that again for a few month. I never lost hope in finding my forever home and was very grateful to the wonderful people at the RSPCA for taking such good care of me. I had learned very quickly not to bark when people arrived at the RSCPA because it was something that happened all the time and all the other dogs where barking their heads off. I could tell my soon to be parents didn't like all the barking, the little dogs were especially annoying. A few minutes later, mum and dad walked over to my enclosure, I was jumping up and down for joy (I think I scared them a little as I can jump as high as 6ft). One of the ladies taking care of me let them into my pen and I could tell I wanted to be with them forever. I jumped up to give them cuddles (I've since learned not to jump up on people as I make them dirty and they get cranky with me), I gave them big kisses and they returned the favour by giving me some belly rubs. We were all so excited. A few days later, my daddy came back up from Sydney to pick me up and set some ground rules straight away eg. I'm not allowed in the front seats of the car (I'd really like to be). I was so happy to see him and tried so hard to please so I made sure I didn't do wees in the car. After a long car ride, he let me out and showed me my new home. A nice big backyard with doggies on both sides for me to sniff and a huge park that I can guard over, bliss!

I had a great Christmas Day and an awesome Boxing Day. We went to Cafe Bones and I got to meet lots of new doggies. There were ones with died ears and tails and a very beautiful husky girl with odd eyes. She was in the water and I thought I'd give it a go much to my parents suprise. They thought I didn't like water. I had a very very long walk and lots of running around with all the doggies. Can't wait to go back there again!

Santa Paws and my new friend

What a big day it was for me.

First in the morning, my parents took me to Monikas doggie rescue. They took me to meet this corgi x girl. She was very pretty but bit me and mad me cry when all I went to do was give her a lick. She drew blood. So mummy said no way, she doesn't want me to be bashed up.

So then we looked at a little jack russel x. She was very nice until we got home. She's so naughty and keeps growling at me but mummy is already setting the boundaries (thanks mum) so she should soon learn that we have to live together. Mum says that she'll help me lose weight. I'm getting extra long walks and am on a diet but am still putting on weight because all I do when I'm waiting for my parents to get home is sleep. Because she's an excitable Jack Russell she runs all over the place.

Then we both went to Kellyville pets to have photo with Santa Paws and tell him what we want for Christmas. We have to pick up the photos next weekend, so mummy promised she'd help me upload them for all to see.

What a big day....I'm glad to be home.....*panting with tongue hanging out*
