Hi pups--- I just want to thank the sweet Dogster who sent me a special pair of wings!!

It is always special to be remembered and thought about--- Not a day goes by that I am not missed by my mom & dad!!

Now , I must get back to chasing squirrels and welcoming new Angels to the Bridge--- Love Sadie

You have been gone for a year and I am just now able to really reflect on your life with us and how we are now that you are over the bridge.

I miss you alot, and have been dreaming about you the last few weeks. You were a great companion and pal-- you made me laugh alot--- when you chased the squirrels-boy you hated having them in your yard, how you would bark at the mailman until he gave you a biscut-cause you had just learned 'speak' and you knew a treat came after speaking, and my favorite was when you would jump out of the bushes to bark at anyone walking by your yard.

Do you remember the day Rush Limbaugh came to our humble town cause some nut baked some cookies or some crap to sell in support of his 'cause'----the ' Ditto Heads" had to walk by the house to get back to their transportation and I let you scare all of them but made you stayon the porch when a real human walked by-- and yes we could tell the difference :) BOL

You were a favorite of my Dad and he always snuck you food even tho we asked him not to--I am sure the two of you are having a grand time sharing treats and not gaining an ounce!!

I do think I kept you here a little longer than I should have--those last few months were not alot of fun for you or us-- but it was so hard to let you go even tho I knew it was the best thing for you! I hope my dreams go back to when you were a young ,healthy pup-- cause my dreams now remind me of when Mom and Dad passed- I always dreamed of them sick and it took several years for me to dream of them as well and healthy. I do know you are better now and you have Laurel and Hardy to keep you company. I miss all of you more than I can say and I wish I could have you all back here with me even if it was only an hour so I could hug you all just one more time :(

Rest easy Sweet Sadie and please visit me in my dreams and know I Love you always.

Thank You to Kadie, Inky Doodle and the A Team--- I got some wonderful wings!!! Mom cried and smiled at the same time when she saw them- now I feel like an Angel First Class when I greet newcomers to the Bridge!!!

Groups like this make it easier on the humoms and dads when their furbabies have to go---Thanks Again, you all are the BEST!

Just a real quick note to all of our Dogster Pals to say Happy and Healthy New Year. Mom is really grateful to have found this community right before I had to go over the Bridge--- it has made the passing a whole lot easier on her! I am glad to be watching over everyone in my family and seeing them all smile when they think of me. Mom is going to try and improve the pics on my page--she just has to figure out the doggone computer and how to enlarge those great shots of me in my heyday!!

My mom tells me I got a Star and a Rosette this week---- and it is only Tuesday nite!!! Very cool- All of you wonderful Dogster folk have made the last two weeks much easier for my Humans!!! The only thing that would be
better was if there were bread slices to give!?!?!?

My mom is a scrapbooker( whatever, it never involved food) and since there were never any two footed kids at our house she never stopped taking pics of me and my sisters!!! Here are some quotes she wanted to share --

I made my final trip to that scary vet office and you know this time really wasn't so bad. I was feeling really awful and this whole last week was pretty tough on me and my family. Several sleepless nites, a little better for a day or two but I just couldn't find a comfy spot for more than an hour or two. Even those yummy bread slices I was getting were not tasting so swell ( and I do LUV the bread!!)

Mom and Dad were upset and I could not help them, the nice people at Chappelles were really great to them and me so that did help a little. Mom especially had a hard time letting go of me but boy was I ready!! Now I can chase my kitty-Pal Hardy who has been gone for so long--it will be good to have him bite my ears again!!
