Quick Bio:
-purebred

Birthday:
April 1st 2002

Likes:
She loves to sunbathe (turning over on her belly and back so she can get the sun rays just so), play with her toys from her toybox, get belly rubs, chew rawhides, and play at the park with other dogs.

Pet-Peeves:
When her daddy and her play this game call the "staredown" where he puts his face really close to hers and stares her in the face - she always ends up laying down on the ground as if defeated. Squirrels and birds are on top of the list as well.

Favorite Toy:
A green rubber bone inherited from a doggie friend, a multicolored stuffed puppy named "dolly", a black "tough to chew" chewed up rubber hydrant, "squeakers" her squeaky stuffed giraffe, and her fuzzy red blankie.

Favorite Food:
Wellness Super5Mix dog food, bananas, watermelons, Frosty Paws dog ice cream, and mommy's home made dog cookies (yum!)

Favorite Walk:
Loves going to Winslow Dog Park in Westport, CT and playing off leash with the other poochies.

Best Tricks:
She knows her toys by name and will retrieve them on command.

Arrival Story:
My husband and I got Wendy in February 2003 when she was only 10 months old. She was previously owned by a family my husband knows from work. They have three young kids and couldn't keep up with her. We lost our beloved doberman pinscher the year before and were thinking of adopting another dog to fill the loss. We couldn't have been any luckier finding Wendy. She has been a godsend. She is truly an angel.

Bio:
Wendy is known for her calm, sweet demeanor and her fondness for all her doggie pals and human playmates. As much as Weimaraners are known for their high energy level , Wendy can pass as one of William Wegman's model weimies - cool, reserved, and obedient. Wendy is also preparing for a new role in life - playing big sister to a little girl my husband and I are expecting in late October 2004.

Forums Motto:
Will always be our baby girl #1

I'm a Big Sister AGAIN!!!

Mommy and Daddy welcomed a new member to our family - my baby brother Deacon James who was born on December 23, 2005. Our family has grown so much - first it was me, then my baby sister Skylar (who is now 14 months old) and now baby Deacon! I love the new baby! He has a head full of black hair and I give him kisses on the face whenever I can! I love my sister too - especially since she's old enough now to give ME hugs and kisses and she crawls all over me when I'm asleep!

We moved!!!

Mommy, daddy, Skylar and I moved to a new town. I really like our new neighborhood because we live right in front of a big park. Mommy took me to the park one day with Skylar but she got really mad when I tried to chase the ducks on the lake! I also like our new house because we have stairs now and I love to run up and down on it even though it drives daddy crazy!

I love being a BIG SISTER!

My baby sister Skylar is now eight months old and just started to eat cookies and a lot of other good stuff. When mommy's not looking she throws me a piece from her high chair or lets me lick her cookie when she's on the floor. Mommy says that I'm not suppose to have any of the baby food because its bad for me - but it tastes so good that I can't help it. Good thing that Skylar likes to share. My mommy also told me that she's having another baby after Christmas this year and that I'll be a big sister for the second time. Yipee - more food for me!
