Arrival Story:
One week (to the day) after my husband and I were married, we visited a local small dog rescue. My husband was less than thrilled about the idea of getting a dog but all my "dog talk" eventually wore him down. Allie's personality won us over, although dear hubby wasn't convinced she was the cutest dog...needless to say looks aren't everything because we took her home. (Now my husband claims he doesn't know how he could have ever thought Allie was anything less than the cutest little pooch ever!)

Bio:
Prior to making her home with us, Allie had been picked up by the Humane Society and was on death row because no one claimed her or adopted her. A rescue organization "rescued" her, and she spent two months with them before we adopted her. Allie has been through beginning and intermediate obediance and has a full repertoire of tricks. She exhibits potential as a racing and agility champion and practices everyday in her big backyard, in addition to the 20 miles a week she runs with my husband and I.
