Arrival Story:
Bernie belonged to a terrible alchoholic, who had run Bernie over with his car while intoxicated. Fortunately the guy finally died from liver failure, and Bernie was one step closer to freedom. Unfortunately the rest of the family who had promised their dying relative that they would take Bernie in, decided they did not want him, since he was mildly incontinent from nerve damage after being run over. Bernie ended up in the Elko NV Pound, where a really cool employee contacted Dog Town Canine Rescue, and we bailed poor Bernie out. We have had him for three years, and have decided to take him off the adoption list - he's all ours!

Bio:
Bernie crossed the Rainbow Bridge on November 29, 2008. He was a huge part of our lives and we miss him every day.
