Arrival Story:
Sugar was an abused dog and sent to Lab Rescue. I had just lost a dog and my 13th birthday present was a new dog. We'd been looking for a long time but nothing seemed right. Then we went to this Rescue day on a whim not expecting to find anything and I saw Sugar (then named Brooke) across the parking lot and it was love at first sight. She was very shy but rolled over and I gave her a bellyrub and that was the end of it. She was my dog.
Bio:
Sugar is a fairly quiet people dog. She likes other people. She is the only blond in our family and she knows it. She loves to just lie and look beautiful. She is incredible with kids and disabled people. She likes other dogs too but gets annoyed by them sometimes. She knows that she's a good dog and is rather lazy. But she is incredibly loving and sweet.
