Arrival Story:
Wendell was a shelter dog at the Oakland SPCA, where used to work . I got suckered by his goofy, stuffed monkey- carrying ways.

Bio:
Wendell has what is called "nyastagmus" or "shifty eyes" as my friends call it. Basically he has wobbly eyes that never stop moving. Besides being a little slower than other dogs, it doesn't seem to affect him much. I think it's charming because it makes his face contort into un-doglike expressions and makes him seem more human than other dogs. Its anyone's guess how he got this way: head trauma, surviving distemper-- it's all part of his year and a half history that is unknown to me. He has also been seen by the vets at UC Davis, where he was immortalized on videotape.

Forums Motto:
huh? (accompanied by the head bobble)
