Arrival Story:
Little Doug was found under a car in downtown Los Angeles. After using up his time in the LA animal shelter, the woman who rescued him picked him up and happened to have him with her when she came to my office for a meeting. I was standing with a group of people when Little Doug came into my office, he walked up to me, and with his little paw tapped my pant leg, I bent down to pick him up and as I scoped him in my arms I knew he was my boy.

Bio:
Little Doug is my favorite being on this earth and he left me September 24, 2006. We had been battling a failing heart and bronchial system for a month. He put up a valiant fight but was readmitted to the hospital September 23rd in the afternoon and spent the night in the oxygen cube. The next morning he told us he just couldn't go on. We had the finest medical care and amazing support and kindness from his doctor and all of the staff at the hospital (City of Angels, Culver City, CA). Doug took his last breath, cradled in my arms, with my sisters Kris and Joanne at our side, knowing he was deeply loved.
