Arrival Story:
I had been talking with my mom one day about wanting a dog. Not long after, someone found a dog wandering the streets and dropped her off at the police department where we both worked. Mom brought her back to me and the minute I saw her little happy face and little stumpy tail, I knew she was mine. After much thought, I named her Oreo because....well.....she looks like an Oreo! And if she gets fat, I can call her Doublestuff!

Bio:
I have no history on Oreo, so I make it up as I go. I celebrate her birthday in November, because that's when I got her and I estimate she was born in 1999/2000. I'm not sure how she came to be wandering the streets, but I don't believe she was well taken care of, as she was skin and bones, only 16 lbs. Because of skin allergies, she'd bitten off most of the hair on her rump and back legs. After a year and a half, she topped out at a healthy 25 lbs, and she's happy and healthy. She's a sweet dog who loves people, and flirts shamelessly with men. She loves walks outside, and every night she sleeps in bed with me - under the covers! She's recently made friends with some of the neighborhood cats, and she's learning to not chase them up a tree!
