I'm back for today at least

Well I know it's been a long time since I've been here, and I'm sorry. Mom is just so busy with my brother now that he is walking and running and falling and climbing. Things are good here though. But I guess that like any younger brother, he does annoy me alot. Mom and dad think it's cute when he tries to wipe my butt or wipe my face.......to me it's annoying. Because usually I'm trying to eat or drink. And I do feel sorry for my sis, Velvet, cause he loves to hug her. BUT.......I am lovin that he's eating people food!!!! Oh, how I love that! And since mom and dad are trying so hard to teach him things like where his belly and nose are.....I'm teaching him to drop food for me or to just dump it on the floor. It's working out pretty well so far, I have to admit.
On a weather note......the weather people here are calling for SNOW. I've never been in snow before so I'm pretty excited to see what it is....although mom is telling me that I probably won't like it, since I don't care for rain. But we'll see.
Well hopefully it won't be so long until next time.

Spring already?!

oh my....I can't believe that how long it's been since I last posted on here. Well my baby brother has gotten a lot bigger and now he is rolling over and sitting up. I am working on teaching him how to play fetch with me. Mom and Dad are helping him throw my toys for me to catch. I don't think that he has quite gotten the idea of it yet. He really just wants to keep my toys for himself and slobber on them. He hasn't learned about sharing yet but that's okay, I'm trying to be patient with him. Mom and Dad tell me how proud on me they are. That makes me feel really good.

Back in a routine

Well things are getting somewhat normal around here again. I am getting more sleep now than I was. My brother Gavin is sleeping through the night now. Plus mom is back at work so I can sleep during the daytime too. Although I do miss them during the day....didn't think I would. :)
Well our Thanksgiving was good. Everyone came over here and we had fun. Christmas was different this year. Usually we go to Grandma and pa's near Charlotte, NC but they came down here this time. Gavin got sick the weekend before Christmas and had to go to the hospital. Luckily my aunt Steph came to stay with me so I wasn't alone at night while mom and dad were with Gavin. He was only there for one night and then got to come home. :) he's doing better now and everyone has gone home and things are getting quiet again.

Sleep??

Well mom finally helped my get a photo of my new brother, Gavin, up on my page. He is 4 weeks old today and still not letting me get much sleep. I try to make up for it during the day, but when mom wants to do "tummy time" with him on the floor it's hard to resist joining in. :) But the good news is that I am getting more time with mom again. We go on walks in the morning after Gavin eats. I like that alot.

Baby is Here!!!!!

My new brother is finally here!!!! His name is Gavin and mom had him on the 15th. I didn't get to meet him until that Sunday when mom came home with him. At first I didn't know what was going on, since mom and dad had left me here. But dad came home and told me and then I had my aunts and grandma stay with me on different nights so that I wouldn't get lonely.
So let me tell you.....at first I wasn't sure what he was and the first time he cried really scared me. I ran all around barking, but mom and dad explained that he's going to cry alot......and boy does he. I have also learned that he likes to get up in the middle of the night. Which I am not too fond of. the first couple of days I was a zombie, but now I am used to it and just keep sleeping while mom and dad get up. Plus I get to sleep during the day too. :)

So much news

Wow, today there has been so much going on. First I found out that one of my bully friends, Little Moe, passed over the Rainbow Bridge. I could believe it but I know that he's in a better place watch down on all of his dogster buds. MoeMoe was one of the greatest bullies that I have met here and I will truely miss him. My heart goes out to his family.
On a brighter note, my diary was picked to be in the dogster diary page. So that was pretty cool. Mom says it's because I have been going on and on about my soon to be new brother. I think it's because I'm just such a cool pup! :)
Well speaking of an upcoming addition to the family.....still no baby. Mom is having another ultrasound tomorrow to see how he's doing. They think in the next week or so he'll be here. That means I have a week left to snuggle with mom and no competition.
And last night I realized that not only will I have a brother to deal with...not only has my feline sis has recently been stealing my food right in front of me, but last night she was in my toy box!!!!!!! OMG I couldn't believe that! It's one thing to take a pup's food, but for the love don't mess with his toy box! I can't take it!

No baby today

Well today was the day that the ultrasound doctor told my mom that she would have the baby. Her doctor said the 15th. So we are all waiting to see who is closer. So far mom thinks it might be a little longer, so it's a wait and see thing right now. Mom has been pretty tired lately and everyone has been telling her to take it easy. I don't mind. I am always up for naps. Mom tells me that I need to get all the sleep now because soon I won't be getting too much. I don't know if I believe that. Well I'll keep you posted if there is any news.

No wagon for ME!

Okay, I am starting to realize that this new baby on the way is getting a lot of neat stuff. Yesterday dad was putting together a so called "stroller" for my new brother. I want to know where is mine! I've been asking for a wagon forever and nothing has happened yet. This baby isn't even here yet and he alread gets one. Mom says it's because he can't walk and has to be carried around. Ugh. Mom says that I do get to sleep in the bed while the baby can't. Ha! One up for Dudley!

On to good news.....it was 61 degrees this morning. Oh it felt so nice going on my morning walk. I didn't want to come in. Mom says next week is going to be nice and cool, which is a nice change from the 90 degree weather. My mom really likes it since she has been so hot lately. We only have on month left until my baby brother gets here. And everyone is getting excited. I'm excited because all our family is going to be here, I can't wait for that!

Bath Smath!

Yesterday mom gave me a bath! Both mom and dad said that I was getting stinky! The nerve!!! I thought that she wouldn't be able too. But I was wrong! I tried to delay it but she kepy scooting me into the bathroom. Ugh, and to make things worse I have to get in the tub myself! Talk about uncomfortable. The tub is taller than me! The only positive that comes out of a bath is that I get my butt rubbed. :)

2 months to go!

Well my mom has about 2 months left until I am a big bully brother! We are keeping comfy by staying inside, which I don't mind with this hot weather. Like a lot of you out there, I like to sleep with my mom in bed. Well this baby on the way has changed it all. There's no room in the bed for me! Even my small cat sis has been booted out. Mom has all these pillows and it constantly getting up at night and moving around. I try to sneak in, but then I land up getting pushed out of the way. I have more room when dad is working at night, so those nights are easier.
Mom has been feeling sore lately, she says it's because of the baby. She's also tired of everyone telling her how big she is getting. My mom knows that she getting big.....she's having a baby! Duh!!!! But on to other baby news....mom and dad have most of the nursery put together. I tried to help, but I kept getting in the way. hehehe! But let me tell you this baby has some neat toys. He gets all these soft things with mirrors on them and they all make noises! I can't wait to play with him....hopefully he'll share. Plus he has all these cool bath toys that mom says I can use! No more dull baths for me!!!
