Arrival Story:
My husband and I decided to get a dog for Valentine's Day in 1995. We went to an organization called Angels for Animals to look for a puppy. As we were walking through the kennel area my husband spotted Sophie in the last cage and suggested we meet her. We took her to the reception area and she immediately flopped down and offered up her belly for scratching. We knew right then that she was a keeper.

Bio:
Her original name was Scribbles but we felt that she was definitely an old soul and that she was deserving of a more dignified name so we chose Sophie. She is definitely a once in a lifetime companion...never had a bit of training yet we've never had to keep her tied up or housebreak her or anything! I truly believe that she is the most wonderful, beautiful and amazing dog that I have or will ever know. Sophie became an angel on March 12, 2007. I am a beter person for having been a part of her life. I look forward to the day when we will meet again.
