Hard Work?

So... I'm a South Florida Husky bored out of my mind, because this summer is just too HOT! Mom and I used to take 2 short walks and 1 long walk a day plus 3hrs. at the park. But since summer it's just to hot to walk, my paws would just burn up on the pavement. Its to hot to go to the backyard, I play for 15mins. then run back inside and I do that all day. And now I cant go to the park antill 5/6pm, and I only last an hour with this heat, plus that around my dinner time. Mom cant take me everyday anymore because she works around tht time too. Sheesh, to top it all off mom baught me a pack pack so that I carried 2bottles of water when we do go out for a late walk. She says since we are walking a shorter distance and less than usual she needs to put this husky to work! Is she crazyor what?! Im a pampered south Florida pooch! All though I must say it is great to have the extra water, and all the neighbors say my backpack is cute.So far its been 2 days with the pack on my back and its still weird, but once its on and we're ready to go its not so bad. Well, TTFN!

Finaly!

Yay!..The backyard is now all mine!!!!!....I was banned from the backyard without a leash the mininute I felt I was od enough to roam alone w/o mom!! Ca you belive it?!?! Not being able to run around your own yard or around the fence to chase duckes anymore!! But now my mom said the fence is finaly done and Husky proof (or so she thinks). So now I get to run around like a nut and have friends over!!! Yay!!! TTYL!

Yummy Food

So mommy didnt think my old food was good enough for me, so we went to the pet store today and mommy went through all of the dog food in the dog food aisle reading the ingrediants. She was stuck on two, but ended up choosing Solid Gold (Wolf Cub).We got home and she gave me two bowls of food one with my old dog food Eukanuba and the other with the new one. I sniffed each one and went for the Gold. I love the way it taste! And mom loves the way she doesnt stutter when she reads the ingredients...BOL.

Im free!!!!...Im finaly able to go back to the park! Today at 12pm it was official.....I am free dog.....I dont have to wear that annoying cone over my head anymore, and I can finaly reunite myself wth my dog park pack....well Im goin to the park...TTFN.

King Me!

It has come to mommy's and daddy's attention that we apperently need a king size bed. Unfortunetly since it took them so long to figure this out it'll be a lil longer before its bought. I frankly dont see the point I am always perfectly comfortable sleeoing on my back fully stretched out, I feel nothing amiss. I hope all my furrbuddies are enjoying there nighs also...Oh...I got my stitches off and I go back tomorrow what I think will be my last check up for my leg....and if all goes well Ill be able to once again join life in the fast lane at the dog park...yay!...TTFN

This bites

SIgh...my surgery went well now im all stiched up..but bored to tears. Mom says I have to wear this dumb cone for upto 2 weeks!!!And I wont be able to see my doggy friends at the park either!!! Sigh....I hope they remeber me....my paw is swollen but other than that I'm just bored out oof my fur. The ducks are taunting me outside I just know they are. Well TTFN.

Im finaly getting my tumor removed from my back ankle...my momy is realy nervous...but daddy says everything is going to be OK......so we believe him..sort of...I love going to my vet anywayz it cat be that bad, except momy says she can't stay with me this time!....I want my momy!....woes is me.

Daycare vs. The Lake

So today mommy had a brunch date with daddy and this time daddy said I could not come.....cause it was indoors, and he wanted to get mushy with mommy...eeeewe.....Mommy felt so bad she decided it was worth the money to take me to Daycare....Boy do love my daycare! I get to run, dig, jump and play with other dogs...instead of being enclosed at home with grandma....I love grandma and my kitty sisters but their just no fun. I always get A's at daycare too. And everyone there loves me cause they've known me since I was lil.....Then mom and dad picked me up and they said they had a surprise, the Lake....I hate the lake!!!!....I hate getting wet...I hate swimming.....and I hope to never go back there again!!! Dad said I have to go back though, "this is Florida he has to learn to like the water and cool himself off, its like not teaching a kid wich would be irresponsible and hazordous" he said. Mom agrees, but she feels for me...lol..I have her wrapped around my lil paw sometimes.

Im growing up!

Moms been looking back at my pictures today and shes finaly declared tham Im growing up!!! Its about time shes noticed I'm a big boy. She says my ears fit my head now, and grandma says Im in my awkward stage cause I look like a fawn/baby deer. I've been trying to show them how big I am too...I can sit and lay down now and I dont fall when I run as much anymore. Sure I still have an accident here and there but Im trying, sort of. Daddy keeps telling mom to stop baby talking me... I wish shed listen to him sometimes...its sooo emberrasing. So since I'v grown up :D mom baught me bigger and nicer bowls, they are ceramic dark blue with a cloth place mat, very diffrent from my baby plastic one with matching plastic bowls. And a new bouncier toy, plus Ive been going to the big part of the dog park now.
