Happy Birthday Girly Girl!!! I have nothing but the best memories of you. You were the sweetest dog I've ever had, the easiest to be with every day. You loved running, walking, traveling, being with your mom & sister (and we loved being with you). I think of you often. Sometimes I see your cuteness in a cloud formation and know you're still with me.
Big hugs & kisses to my sweet baby. Happy Birthday!!!

Missing you sweet baby girl! I thought of you the other night as I was falling asleep. You always slept up against my heart, cradled in my arms. I noticed you were missing and was wishing you were there again. I already apologized to Georgie for making you two wear those antlers for a Christmas picture one year! You were pretty cute though. Wishing you were here for Christmas this year, although I know you are in spirit. Your ornament is on the tree. I think about you every time I put it there.
love you baby,
mom

Miss Annie Bananie, my girly girl, Happy Birthday sweet baby. Did you eat lots of cake and treats and go for a big run? I wish I could see you run again, it was your favorite thing to do. Sending you the biggest hugs, kisses and love on a day that is very important to me. Give your sisters and Boomer, the kitties and your human brother and uncle Randy big hugs and kisses from mommy. Tell everyone to come up to Oregon and chase some squirrels!
love you baby girl.

Dear Sweet Annie,
I'm thinking of you on your Rainbow Bridge Day. It's hard to believe it's been 5 years. You were my baby, always sleeping next to my heart. You are permanently a part of my heart sweet girl. No matter how much time goes by, I will remember my funny, beautiful, sweet little darling.

YAY, my gf Miracle is Dogster's Diary of the Day!!! She mentioned my mommy in her diary entry too. On Miracle's 3rd anniversary at Rainbow Bridge, my mom was driving and saw a message from Miracle! The car in front of her had a personalized license plate. On it was an open hand next to the words MIRACLE! Mom knew right away it was a hello wave. She forgot about it until another friend told Miracle's mom about a message she had received too! WOW, Miracle is still making miracles happen for her mom!!! What a special girl pup. We are all so glad to know each other, and Miracle and her siblings Spike and Sheba. They were at the anniversary party with me, my sisters Georgie and Molly. We're sending lots of kisses to our moms. xxxxx00000xxxxx

Happy Birthday to my sweet Annie, born Liebestraum Blame It On The Rain, on November 14, 1997. You would've been 13 years old this birthday, much too young to have left us 4 years ago. You bring such happy memories to all of us and we miss you so much. I hope you are having a big birthday party with Georgie, Molly, Lexi, Boomer, Tigger, Socks, Uncle Randy, brother Andrew and Ginny (your breeder). Along with all the other angels you have met through our friendships on dogster. What a joyous time it will be.
In honor of your birthday, I have made a donation to a doggie rescue. You were the one that always showed concern for others if they were hurt or frightened. You sat with them until they were ok. Such a sweet girl! In this way you can go on helping others.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY ANNIE! Enjoy all the treats you can eat including cake & ice cream.
love you baby girl,
mom

To my dear sweet girl Annie,
I can't believe it's been 4 years since I last saw you. It seems like just yesterday that you were running around the house and yard, going for walks and sleeping next to me. We had so much fun you and I, and with your sister Georgie. We traveled so much, you met so many people. Remember when we stayed in New Orleans, and I left you two at some friends' house while we went out to dinner. When we came home, I heard you barking up on the second floor. You and Georgie had climbed some very steep stairs that were open (without visible risers). You both were scared to go back down, and thank goodness you didn't try! Always exploring. I remember the first time you learned to walk upstairs. Florida is very flat and not many places had stairs, our house didn't have any. So we practiced on the golf course club house steps. You were such a quick learner - always!
We must've walked lots of miles together, and many you ran! Always running whenever you could. So light on your feet and lightening fast. In Florida, you ran along the golf course, and all over the nearby parks. You loved running at the beach. I remember you and Georgie chasing squirrels when we moved to California. You would each take one side of a tree and bark so that squirrel wouldn't come down again!
You ran and barked with such joy. You also barked as my guard dog, since your sister wasn't much of a barker. I miss that bark now. You were always the good one, always listening to mom! I know that Georgie girl used to instigate some of those stunts. I loved how the two of you would run into the formal living room, and we'd hear you and yell out "who is in the living room?" and you'd both come running out!
I like to watch the video of you with your puppies. There are only a few seconds on your dogster page but the original is about 10 minutes. We see you so much more in it. You were a beautiful girl and mommy with beautiful pups. I love seeing you so healthy.
I also remember our last night together. Your heart condition was so bad and you were so short of breath. We slept on the couch together the whole night, and in the morning I tried to delay taking that final trip to the vet. I didn't want to let you go, but I couldn't let you suffer. As I held you for the last time at the hospital, my sorrow reached to the root of our being.
I miss you baby girl. You are always in my heart and I think of you often. I know you are running and barking with joy. I know that your sister Georgie is there bossing you around, and that your BFFs Molly and Lexi are there, and your big love Boomer who always watched out for you. I know you're not alone but I do look forward to seeing you again some day sweet girl.

Tomorrow it will be 3 years since you left me. You are still in my heart as you have always been and always will be. I miss you every day. I wish you could be here, walking and running with Georgie, sleeping next to me. I know you have so many family members with you now, and I know they are looking after you, little one. I pray you are happy and safe until I see you again.
Love mom.
We Have A Secret
We have a secret, you and I
that no one else shall know,
for who but I can see you lie
each night in fire glow?
And who but I can reach my hand
before we go to bed
and feel the living warmth of you
and touch your silken head?
And only I walk woodland paths
and see ahead of me,
your small form racing with the wind
so young again, and free.
And only I can see you swim
in every brook I pass
and when I call, no one but I
can see the bending grass.

Annie - the sweetest dog I have ever known, I can never forget you. You were my baby, and you will be with me forever.
A Time to Remember
By John Quealy
They come into our lives for such a short time
A time we wouldn't trade not even for a dime
Then before you know it the years have flown by
And then all of the sudden we're saying good-bye
It wasn't that long ago we said our good-byes
We held on to you tight as you closed your eyes
Your spirit has flown home on the wings of a dove
Into God's loving arm's; in heaven above
Over the days we've shed many tears
But the memories we have will live on for years
We feel your presence and we know that your near
You're keeping us safe and calming our fear
We think about memories from years past
When you were young and strong and ran so fast
We remember all the great times that we all had
How you always made us happy never made us mad
They were the best and happiest years we had
We'll always look back on them and never be sad
We look forward to the time we'll be together again
And we thank the Lord for such a great friend
Now you run and play up in Heaven above
Cradled in God's arms covered with his love
Playing by the Bridge waiting for the day
We come down thru the meadow to the bridge to stay
The love that you showed us we'll never forget
Because to us you're one very special pet
You're like a star in the dark of night
Always watching over us with the Lord's light
So now we take time to remember our best friend
Who will always be with us even to the end
We'll always remember you the way you were
One big lovable huggable pile of fur
