Arrival Story:
Charlie came to us by chance when a co-worker was going thru a divorce and she was unable to take Charlie with her. She asked if we might be interested in adopting Charlie and we said YES sight unseen. When we went to pick him up, he acted like he had known us forever and jumped right in the back seat! What a loving friend. He was only 3 years old and full of energy. We had a German Shepard/Wolf mix at home and they seemed to hit it off right away. Charlie loved to go anywhere his dad's went, but also loved to get into mischief if left alone. His favorite thing was to chew a whole in the down comforters and pull all the feathers out! We went thru 3 down comforters before we figured out all we had to do was buy him a stuffed animal from the thrift store once/week to tear up and we saved hundreds of dollars on bedding!!!! We had feathers everywhere!

Bio:
Charlie was diagnosed with bone cancer a few weeks before Christmas last year. Within 2 weeks, we were forced to make the very difficult decision to let him go due to the severe, uncontrollable pain he was suffering. He was such a wonderful friend and important part of our family. He will be missed but never forgotten.
