Arrival Story:
I came home one evening after school and my mom told me about these puppies that were in really bad shape. So I went to see if I could save one of them. I wish now I would have took the whole litter but there were to many of them and I was still in high school. I called these people and they told me that I could come pick out a puppy. They said that the puppies were born on June 20 but thats all they would say. I went to pick one out and when I saw them I was horrified! Most of the puppies were crawling with fleas and ticks. They were so small. I went into the make shift pen and was trying to catch one of the bigger healthier looking puppies when this little bitty puppy came up and sat on my feet. The whole time she was crying and looking up at me she would not leave my feet. So I picked her up and took her home. She was covered in fleas and ticks and was almost completely bald. Soon after I took her to the vet and spent alot of money getting her healthy. She was less then one pound and not even weaned yet. She had a staph infection, pneumonia, sarcoptic mange, and had to be put on milk replacement. At six months she was only 5 pounds. She is now healthy and happy! She is now 9 pounds and is always ready to play. She is the best behaved dog I have ever been around! She's always doing something comical.

I just bought jayne her first life jacket for this summer. We went to the river and tried it out. She loves it and it helps her to swim. I recomend that everyone with "Water Dogs" get one of these life jackets!

I was really sad a little while ago! I was chewing on mr. squeaky like I do all the time, and I ran across the room and then jumped on him and started chewing again. Mom started laughing. I couldn't get Mr. Squeaky to squeak. I kept nudging him and shaking him and he wouldn't squeak. I was really confused! It's ok now though cause mom felt sorry for me and started playing ball with me so I would forget about mr. sqeaky. I bet everybody has buried a Mr. Squeaky.
