Homer, already sick and suffering from a nasty intestine virus, was silly enough to eat a big chunk of chocolate! Of course we all love chocolate and it is understandable that Homer would eat it when he gets the chance (although, does climbing in the closet really count a a chance?), but of course dogs are no good at eating chocolate and can get very sick and even die.
So off to the vet we went where Homer got a nasty injection that made him very, very nauseous. After a while, he got so nauseous he had to puke very many times until all the lovely chocolate was lying on the floor of the vet's office. The vet than gave him another nasty injection that made him feel better again.
Now Homer is back home and his virus seems to be clearing up as well, so he succesfully recovered from the attack of the chocolate!
