 Quick Bio:
Likes: sleeping, being petted, food, squeaker stuffed aminals

Pet-Peeves: being picked up, having nails clipped, baths

Favorite Toy: squeaker aminals

Favorite Food: pizza crust. as soon as it enters the house she's there.

Favorite Walk: anything outside. all you have do is start asking her and she goes nuts.

Best Tricks: hah, begging, that's probably her best trick.

Arrival Story: We became guardians of her after we tried repeatedly to steal her from her former owner. Ok, not really, but we did try on several occasions. Xena was our friend's first dog, got her as a graduation present from college. He moved around a couple of times and eventually got a second dog (smaller, neurotic male dog). The second dog, Railey, was annoying Xena one day to the point where Xena turned on Railey and tried to eat her. After that our friend knew he had to get rid of one of the two. He hated having to do it but we took her in on a temporary basis. After much convincing, ok not really that much, we decided to keep her. She has been in our care now for 6 years and that behavior has not repeated itself. In fact, we think Xena's gone to the other extreme, where you can do pretty much anything to her without complaint. We think that's part of her neurotic, separation anxiety that she experiences frequently, and the greetings we get, sometimes after being gone for 5 minutes are to die for.

Bio: We were told that she's part husky, part chow. After looking at many other dog breeds we feel that the chow part is correct, but the husky part just doesn't seem to fit right. We feel that the other part is either akita or shiba inu. I'm partial to the shiba inu myself.

Ok, let me try to explain those two pictures. You see, I like to chase little furry creatures in the back yard (mostly squirrles). Usually when I'm let out I take off at top speed after them, but they wait until I'm practicaly on top of them before moving out of my reach. Earlier this year I was doing just that one afternoon and I heard a pop. I pulled up and looked back at the house. My owner came and took me to the vet that day, which I hate vets by the way, you can smell nervous aminals all over the place there. I don't like that so I get nervous too. Ok, back to the story.....the vet people took x-rays and determined that I'd torn my ACL. My owners weren't overly pleased but they like me so they decided to fix me again -- yes again, I tore the other ACL I think it was 3 years ago. Different vet from the ones who fixed the me the first time. When I woke up from the operation I had this hoof thing over my foot. My owners though this was hilarious and decided to take pictures. It took me about a day before I realized that the hoof thing that I'd been trying to run away from was actually my foot. Once I figured that out I was ok. The hoof thing dissappeared in about week. Anyway, I'm good as new now....with two relatively new ACLs to show for it. Look out critters, I'm coming for you. Woof.

Woof. Ok, not really but......this is my page on the net. I hope to add more pictures as they are taken of me. Currently I'm trying to dry off, no not because I was out in the rain, but because today it was decided that I would get a bath. Gee thanks, now all the outside critters will know I'm coming. Oh well, lemme go lounge around and try to dry off....
